About Olga
I am a finance professional with over 10 years of experience working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, reconciliations, and month-end finance processes in insurance, education, public sector, and private sector organisations.
I hold an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4) .
Over the years, I have gained strong practical knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage 50 and Sage 200, along with Excel skills. My experience in real finance roles allows me to explain accounting in a practical and easy-to-understand way, linking theory to real business situations.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence in accounting, whether they are complete beginners, studying for AAT or ACCA, or preparing for finance-related job roles.
My approach is patient, structured, and focused on real understanding rather than memorisation.

About the lesson

I focus on real-world finance processes rather than just theory, helping students understand how accounting is actually used in businesses. This includes double-entry bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, inventory accounting, cost of sales, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes.
I also support students working towards qualifications such as AAT and ACCA (FA and MA level), as well as those preparing for finance assistant or assistant accountant roles.
My teaching style is step-by-step and interactive, using examples from real finance environments to build confidence and understanding. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, whether they are starting from scratch or looking to strengthen their existing knowledge.
The aim is not just to pass exams, but to understand accounting in a way that can be applied in real jobs.
