About the lesson

As a tutor, I take a student-centred approach, focusing on interactive and engaging methods to ensure comprehension and retention. I use digital tools like interactive whiteboards to visualise complex concepts and solve problems in real-time, alongside customised resources tailored to each student's needs. My lessons, typically lasting 60 minutes, balance comprehensive material coverage with maintaining student attention and engagement. With 5 years of tutoring experience and a full DBS check, I bring a solid academic background and in-depth knowledge from my engineering studies. My sessions are designed for GCSE and A-Level students, usually aged 14-18, aiming to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or deepen their understanding of Maths, Further Maths, and Physics. By combining active learning and continuous assessment, I create a supportive and effective learning environment that helps students achieve their academic goals.

Parth Shah was in my Maths class at College, when I needed the extra support I reached out to him and with no hesitation he agreed to help. He balanced his education aswell as tutoring me for content he was currently studying. He is incredibly intelligent and his teaching style is so adaptable to any student, he is kind and will always do extra to make sure I would understand the topic. He went on to achieve A* in Mathematics in which, thanks to Parth’s support , I also received an A*.

Parth tutored me A-Level Maths , Further Maths and Physics. Not only was he excellent at sharing his knowledge in such a creative manner that was easy to absorb, he would always go the extra mile to ensure I could fully comprehend the material. He turned my teacher predicted B into a predicted A* for Further Maths and then i went on to receive 4 A*s , 3 of those I couldn’t have done without Parth’s help. He is the perfect tutor for you if you’re looking to improve your grades and learn new content.
