About Gertie

Performing on stages and in studios for 13 years led me naturally to this full time teaching role. I really just kept playing until the music became a part of me. Today I focus on shifting positions, vibrato, spiccato and staccato bowing, double stops, intonation, classical repertoire, and grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity.

Success requires DISCIPLINE. I am ready to work when you are.

About the lesson

Instruction starts with a clear plan. Focus remains sharp.

My sessions move through technical challenges like complex bowing patterns using the foundation from my Bachelor of Music in Music Performance. I prioritise practical results so you hear progress immediately. I provide recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice to ensure clarity during independent study. Do you want to see how your sound changes when we isolate these specific movements?
