About Isabella

I have recently completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Art, all of which I am extremely passionate about. In September I will commence studying Pharmacology at university. I want to help students feel more confident within themselves and achieve the best results possible. I understand the struggle of knowing how to best revise and learning content best suited to your learning style. I am dyslexic myself and I know the challenges students may face when having a different learning style to others, which is what makes me passionate to tutor. Through tutoring I want to ensure students feel comfortable and confident in their ability, and not worry about getting things wrong. I want them to embrace this and learn from their mistakes to improve and perform to the best of their ability. This is why throughout our time together I will also focus on teaching study techniques and the importance of taking breaks and focusing on wellbeing. I am passionate to provide this, as I wish I had someone who was able to support my learning needs when I was in school.

About the lesson

I adapt my lesson plan to your preferred learning style, ensuring the best outcome from our lessons. I focus on ensuring you obtain long term memory of topics learnt, as well as practicing exam techniques through past papers. I will ensure a comfortable learning environment so that you feel confident asking questions and identifying your weak spots, allowing you to develop your understanding and learn from mistakes.
