About Kadi
I have been writing songs for around 5 years.
In 2017 and 2018 I went on an Artist Development programme called Ultimate Artists and from that experience I am currently managed in a writing group of three for 3 years and currently working with an R&B artist 'JustEl'.
I've worked with a music organisation School Ground Sounds since 2017 shadowing sessions.
From January I worked as Youth Leader for an after school music programme guiding students with writing melodies and lyrics.
Currently I work with them on an online project called 'Untitled' where we're working with emerging artists to help finish their songs.

My method of teaching as a songwriter is based on creating melodies and lyric writing through storytelling. I play piano so I can create and guide through chords, however I do not focus on musical theory as I am not equipped to teach it to a high standard.
I have gathered different songwriting techniques we can use to develop your writing practice and develop already written song if that's what you want from me.
I can write on piano, beats or just from a lyric or melody, you do not have to be a skilled singer, everyone can hold a tune :) and we can work with whatever we have.
The lessons are to be tailored to what you need, this can be from:
*Teaching you how to structure a song
*Writing techniques such as e.g. conversational or poetic writing
*Analysing pop writers and artists songwriting and using techniques we find in your own writing.
*Setting weekly tasks to keep you on track and developing as a writer
