About Garrison
With 9 years of experience in Guitar tutoring, I have guided students from different backgrounds towards achieving their musical goals. I teach school children, college youth, and working professionals who want professional and structured training. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and consistent growth.
I ensure that students first master chords, strumming patterns, rhythm timing, and scales before progressing to advanced techniques like solo playing and improvisation. I strongly believe that regular practice combined with proper guidance leads to lasting success.
Many of my students have confidently performed in competitions and public events, earning appreciation for their performances. Watching their growth and transformation gives me great satisfaction. I provide personal attention to every student and adapt lessons according to their pace. My mission is to make guitar learning simple, effective, and inspiring.

My Guitar teaching philosophy is centred on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity. I believe that effective communication between teacher and student creates a solid learning foundation. I carefully assess each student’s ability and learning preference, then design lessons that match their comfort level.
In addition to Guitar playing, I teach Music Theory, Chord Theory, Rhythm Training, Scale Practice, Ear Training, Song Composition, and basic Arrangement concepts. I use practical examples from popular songs to explain how chords, scales, and rhythm patterns work together.
Lessons start with proper posture, tuning accuracy, and basic chord exercises to build technical strength. Gradually, students progress to advanced techniques like barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, improvisation, and expressive solo playing.
I provide structured feedback and clear practice routines to ensure consistent improvement. My aim is to help students not only play the Guitar confidently but also understand music deeply and express themselves creatively.
