About Niamh

Hello!

I am Niamh, an Acting tutor and Actor. I have a first class honours degree in Acting for Film and Musical Theatre, meaning I have extensive experience in both screen and stage. I enjoy finding new ways to pass this knowledge on to passionate students. I have experience in performing for Film, Television and Stage, whether that be on professional productions or projects I have produced myself. I am an active actor, which I believe is very important, as I am always learning new things through my acting jobs and roles. Which I can then pass them onto you! I like to keep my sessions, fun and collaborative, I will be always ask how you think your characters would feel, how you can relate to them and how you can create your character. This will make your performance richer and give you a stronger understanding of your performance.
I want you to be confident in all of you work, and I will work with your to build this up. I will work professionally and at your own pace, so you will leave my sessions feeling like you are working towards something that you want to accomplish and succeed in!

I studied at uni with Niamh and have worked with her on both academic and personal projects. Niamh is dedicated and reliable. I have never known her to be late or underprepared. During our time working together, she was always considerate and understanding whilst also being firm but fair, making the perfect mix of characteristics to help push, inspire, and nourish people to achieve their best. Niamh is genuine and comes across as very human, making her relatable and someone that I would recommend and would love to work with again in the future. She can match energy and is hugely empathetic, two huge characteristics that I believe would make her perfect to work especially with children and young adults. She is dedicated to her craft and INCREDIBLY talented.
