About Jessica

My name is Jess and I am a graduate of the Guildford School of Acting, where I graduated with a first class honours.

I have been playing the piano since I was 5 years old, achieving merits and distinctions in all of my ABRSM exams from grade 1-8. I loved music and therefore picked up several other instruments including the flute, the drums, and the piano accordion. Due to my love of drama alongside this, I decided to do a course in actor musicianship at drama school. After graduating in 2022, I have taught singing, drama, piano and drums in a variety of schools and private tuition too for several years alongside several professional actor-musician jobs around the UK and in the West End. I have always loved teaching and providing fun and engaging lessons and so I would love to hear from you! Thank you.

About the lesson

The lessons will be tailored to your wants and needs - whether this is a beginner wanting to learn the basics and a few pieces to an intermediate wanting to undertake exams. Having passed grades 1-8 on the piano, I am very familiar with the ABRSM exams and have also completed my grade 5 music theory. I would love to pass on this knowledge and create a safe working space where students can grow in skill set and confidence.
