About Rachel
I have a BSC (Hons) in Animal Biology. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School for 5 years. I have taught a range of interventions to help support children's learning in key subjects Maths/English/Reading and Phonics. I have worked across all Key stages up to KS3 and have good understanding of what is expected at each level. I have worked with a variety of pupils with different needs from SEND to EAL.

I will cover areas needed in Maths/English (writing and SPAG)/Phonics/Reading (Guided reading and comprehension)
I make each lesson bespoke to a your areas of need and favoured learning approach. Using a variety of interactive and interesting online learning resources to help keep you engaged and focused. Using lots of visual aids to help embed learning.
Each lesson will consist of:
- greeting/catch up/check in
- a quick refresh of last lessons learning
- the focus aspect(s) of the session- bespoke to you
- ending with a run through of the lessons learning - ensuring understanding- talk through what we will go through next session
