About Beau

Music has the power to inspire, and I feel grateful to share that inspiration as a flute tutor with 12 years of experience. I teach school and college students and focus on creating a positive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable.

My lessons begin with breathing techniques, posture, finger placement, scales, rhythm, and tone quality before moving to advanced musical skills. I encourage students to stay curious and enjoy every lesson.

Throughout my teaching career, I have proudly watched students grow into confident performers. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, beginner music composition, and performance preparation.

My goal is to help students become skilled musicians who enjoy learning for a lifetime.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centered on helping every student enjoy learning the flute while building confidence and strong musical skills. I teach using Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity because I believe students learn best in a positive and supportive environment. Every lesson is planned with care so that students feel encouraged to improve at their own pace.

I begin by understanding each student's goals, experience, and learning style. Beginners focus on breathing techniques, posture, finger placement, note reading, rhythm, and tone production. As students gain confidence, they learn scales, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, musical expression, improvisation, and performance techniques.

Motivation is an important part of my classes. I encourage students to celebrate every achievement and develop regular practice habits. Communication is always simple and friendly, allowing students to ask questions without hesitation. I explain every topic through demonstrations and practical exercises.

Integrity helps me create a respectful learning environment where honesty, patience, punctuality, and equal attention are given to every learner. Creativity keeps lessons exciting through warm-ups, classical music, movie songs, folk tunes, rhythm games, ear training, duet performances, listening practice, and improvisation.

Besides flute, I also teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, sight reading, ear training, rhythm development, music appreciation, and performance preparation. My goal is to help students become skilled musicians who enjoy music with confidence and dedication throughout their lives.
