My goal in teaching is really to raise the self-confidence of students in mathematics. Many students come to me thinking that they are simply not talented enough to understand their course material, and they are frustrated at not understanding their teachers. But in the end, it is often just in having something explained properly that makes all the difference.
Most importantly, I think I offer a genuinely kind approach to my students, and my strongest feedback is in regard to my exceptional knowledge and ability to really lift students up.

Students are encouraged to send me their related course material before the lesson. I use the time to prepare and ensure that the lesson is focused on their material or assignment.
After the lesson, I can provide exercise material. I also provide PDF copies of our notes.
Depending on the needs of the student I also provide lessons where I teach the students the material NCEA in a condensed and easy-to-understand manner, for those students who are not understanding their teacher.
