About Carmen Leonor

Do you understand Spanish grammar but still feel hesitant when it comes to speaking? With more than 10 years of experience teaching Conversational Spanish, I help students from different backgrounds in London build confidence and speak more naturally.

My lessons are relaxed, engaging, and adapted to your interests. I create a comfortable environment where you can talk about topics you genuinely enjoy, whether that’s current affairs, travel, personal experiences, or planning a trip to a Spanish-speaking country.

My goal is to help you move beyond knowing Spanish to actually using it with confidence. We’ll have real conversations, expand your vocabulary, improve your fluency, and make Spanish part of your everyday communication.

Let’s enjoy speaking Spanish together!

About the lesson

I'm a native tutor based in London, specialising in advanced students and professionals. With extensive teaching experience and a law degree from Colombia, I can guide students to speak Spanish naturally, confidently, and accurately.

I focus on perfecting fluency, expanding professional vocabulary, and improving pronunciation and clarity, whether in work, academic, or everyday contexts.

I also offer personalised Spanish reading clubs: you can choose the book, or I can help you select one, making learning practical and fun.

Outside of class, I'm passionate about exploring culture through art and literature, and I enjoy visiting bookstores and museums. I often incorporate these experiences into my lessons to make them inspiring and relevant.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish to private students in London, both in-person and online. I tailor each lesson to the student's needs, making it more relaxed and exciting, using different tools like personal travel, study, or work experiences. The goal is to achieve greater retention and mastery of the language to boost confidence in a natural and fluid way.

Learning Spanish with me will transform your fluency and confidence. Together, we'll refine your professional vocabulary and improve your pronunciation. Plus, you'll enjoy reading clubs that will make your learning a unique and exciting experience. Let's do this!
