About Elena
Hi! I’m Elena Felix, an Aerospace Engineering graduate from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo, with years of hands-on experience in math, science, and engineering. For the past year, I’ve worked at an alternative school on California’s Central Coast as a math teacher and private tutor, and I will be moving to Colorado Springs in September. I personalize lessons by breaking down complex concepts with real-world examples and guided questions. Experienced with all ages—including students with ADHD and learning disabilities—I create an engaging, supportive environment that builds confidence, deepens understanding, and improves problem-solving skills in math and science.

Beyond academics, I’ve worked extensively with students of all ages, including those with learning disabilities and ADHD, helping them build confidence and resilience. My patience, empathy, and ability to connect technical ideas to everyday life create a supportive environment where students thrive.
I tutor students from elementary through high school and early college levels, focusing on math (from basic arithmetic to pre-calculus), physics, and introductory engineering concepts.
