About Pushprajsinh
I'm a third-year aerospace engineering student, currently completing a co-op work term at a landing gear company, where I apply engineering concepts to real industry problems every day. I've earned an A+ in every course I tutor, including mechanical engineering fundamentals and Grade 12 math, so I know these subjects inside and out. Beyond academic success, my industry experience enables me to connect classroom theory to practical, real-world applications, helping students see why the material matters. My teaching approach centers on active problem-solving rather than passive review. Since engineering is built on applying core principles, I focus on working through real problems step-by-step, making sure you understand the "why" behind each formula and method, not just how to plug in numbers.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the concept we're tackling that day, followed by guided practice on past exam questions or textbook problems, and ends with a few problems for you to try independently while I'm there to help if you get stuck. I adjust the pace based on what you need most.
What sets me apart is my strong focus on exam and test preparation. As a current engineering student, I know exactly what professors look for and where students typically lose points, so I help you avoid common mistakes and build confidence under exam conditions.
These lessons are ideal for university students taking mechanical engineering courses such as statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, or mechanics of materials, as well as grade 12 students needing support in math courses like functions, calculus and vectors, or advanced functions, whether you need help catching up, reinforcing concepts, or preparing for a specific exam.
