About Krista
Patient high school tutor offering personalized Basic Math, Algebra 1, and Biology tutoring for students of all levels.
I offer one-on-one tutoring in Basic Math, Algebra 1, and Biology, with lessons tailored to each student’s learning style. I have taken all of these courses myself and mastered the material. I earned top scores on the STAAR exams, scored a 4 on the AP Biology Exam, recently completed Pre-Calculus, and am currently taking Calculus while preparing to take College Algebra this year. I have earned A’s in all of my math courses and plan to major in Biology in college.
In addition to my academic background, I have extensive experience working with children through babysitting, volunteering, and tutoring. I am patient, encouraging, and believe every student can succeed with the right support. Whether you need help understanding new concepts, completing homework, preparing for quizzes and tests, or building confidence in the classroom, I’m here to help make learning easier and less stressful. As a student in the top 10% of my class at Fulshear High School, I understand what it takes to succeed academically. I have experience helping students learn at their own pace and can provide references upon request. My goal is to make learning less stressful while helping you improve your understanding and grades.
