It is a sad thing that most of school students doesn't have a taste for Social sciences and it's primarily due to the way in which social science subjects are taught in schools. We need to understand that social sciences are not limited to mugging up facts or dates(though it also forms a part of it). Gone are the dates in which history is all about remembering the dates and Kings. These days it's more concerned with knowledge production and perspectives. So I'll be focusing on this kinda approach.
