About Denise
I’m a Coloured mom from Cape Town, raising three amazing kids. I’ve walked the journey many of you are on — helping my children with Afrikaans homework, often feeling unsure myself, but determined to give them a strong foundation. Since my eldest was in Grade R, I’ve made it my mission to support him consistently — not just by doing the work for him, but by building his independence step by step. Today, he’s in grade 3, earning a 6 or 7 every term, and does most of his Afrikaans work on his own. I believe that if we get the basics right early, our kids won’t need expensive tutors all the way through to matric. I’m not a teacher — I’m a mom who’s figured out what works, and I want to share that with you.
