About Kayrin
I am a person rooted in punctuality, preparation, authenticity and respect. (As well as an overwhelming love for the art of languages, of course!) I graduated high school (MX24) with distinctions in both Afrikaans Home Language and English First Additional Language. I currently work as a journalism intern. Even though I am early in my professional journey, I am honest about my abilities and committed to continuous improvement. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, motivated and capable of achieving their best results.

My tutoring style balances comfort with results. I make learning clear, personal, and a little fun, helping students understand why things work instead of just memorizing content.
I bring a unique mix of journalism experience and a passion for language, teaching students to express themselves confidently, think critically, and use Afrikaans creatively.
I am fully proficient in Afrikaans and English and can teach in either language. Lessons are interactive, with practical examples, quick grammar refreshers, and guided practice tailored to your style. We can focus on writing, comprehension, oral prep, literature or boosting vocabulary and fluency.
