About Irma
I am a retired mother of three boys whom I assisted with projects throughout their school and university studies.
I have enough time and sufficient patience to assist any student (or adult) to converse and study the Afrikaans language sufficiently to be able to pass a test or exam.
Afrikaans has been neglected for some time but should be a nuisance or hurdle for any English-speaking person. I will try my utmost to present Afrikaans in a useful and enjoyable subject.

As I have experience in translating from Afrikaans to English and vice versa, my knowledge of finding and teaching Afrikaans grammar and literature to an English-speaking student is adequate and swift.
My teaching methodology is open and casual so as to help a student to feel comfortable to ask for any help, however basic or coplicated.
i can assist with basic conversational Afrikaans to grammar and literature up to grade 7 level.
