About Ian
I’m currently a teacher at a local school, and teaching has always been more than just a job for me, it’s a calling. I’ve seen how language can open doors, build confidence, and create connections, and I want to help more people experience that through Afrikaans. I love seeing students grow in their understanding, and I enjoy finding creative, practical ways to make the learning process enjoyable and effective. Sharing my home language with others brings me joy, and I’m excited to help learners feel comfortable, capable, and inspired.
