About Taylor
My name is Taylor, and I am an educator with a Master’s Degree in Agricultural and Environmental Education. My academic background and teaching experience focus on helping students understand how agriculture, sustainability, and environmental systems connect to the real world.
I have experience teaching and working with students from diverse learning backgrounds in the United States as well as internationally in countries like Nicaragua, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. Additionally, I enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable concepts. My training in education has helped me develop strong skills in lesson design, adapting instruction to different learning styles, and helping students build confidence in challenging subjects.
Agriculture and environmental science are fields that combine science, problem-solving, and real-world application. I am passionate about helping students not only succeed in their coursework but also gain a deeper understanding of how agricultural systems, ecosystems, and sustainability shape the world around us.
As a tutor, I aim to create a professional, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. My goal is to help each student build knowledge, confidence, and practical understanding in agriculture and environmental science as well as build upon their current interests in the subject.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students understand agricultural and environmental concepts through clear explanations, real-world examples, and practical applications. I aim to make complex topics easier to understand by connecting them to real systems such as farming practices, ecosystems, and sustainability challenges.
A typical lesson begins with identifying the student’s goals or areas where they need support. From there, we review key concepts, work through examples or problems together, and apply the material to real-world agricultural or environmental situations. I also encourage discussion and critical thinking so students develop a deeper understanding of the subject rather than simply memorizing information.
My background includes a Master’s Degree in Agricultural and Environmental Education, which allows me to combine subject expertise with effective teaching strategies. I focus on adapting explanations and lesson structure to each student’s learning style so they can build confidence and mastery of the material.
