About Shalini
During my bachelor's program I got very interested in certain courses and since then wanted to learn more and share my knowledge. Some of these courses were celbiology, flora and fauna, plant breeding and ecology. I finished my Bachelor's in Agronomy and got enrolled in a Master’s program, MSc in sustainable management of natural resources. I was interested in this program because I wanted to learn and explore more about the sustainable side of agriculture. Some of my favorite courses were Advanced Engineering Mathematics, Integrated Pest Management and Pharmaceutical biology. I enjoy sharing all my knowledge!

I have three years experience in teaching biology, genetics, soil science and postharvest technology. To get better at teaching I followed a course on didactics. I believe I am able to induce and/or increase student's interest by including interesting examples in my lectures. To me it is important to provide the student with the knowledge he or she requires to achieve career goals. Also, I find it important that students feel comfortable in my classes which I try to achieve with kindness, helpfulness and my sense of humor. During my previous job I was always complimented for my presentations, organization and creativity.
