About Alexandra
- What kind of experience do you have? I have 10 years Primary teaching experience and have led on Literacy/English. I am also a phonics expert/reading specialist having trained teachers and parents around the country. I have tutored children ranging from aged 6-11 years including 11+ English Common Entrance Exams and 11+ Reasoning. Hello. I am passionate about raising Literacy standards. I have proven success in writing and confidence through 1:1 tutoring. I currently work at Middlesex University as a Lecturer in Primary English and have 10 years classroom teaching experience. - Which subject(s) do you teach? KS1 and KS2 English and Maths. Acting/Performance Greek-Basic - Tell me about your qualifications. BA Hons in Drama and Film and TV Studies 2:1 PGCE Primary Education Greek GCSE - How much do you charge? KS1 and KS2 £30ph KS3 English £35ph Acting classes / Drama school auditions £35ph Basic Greek £35ph Rates for siblings can be reduced, no travel charges in North London. - Where do you teach? I can teach either at my home (EN1) or at student's homes. I can travel to Winchmore Hill, Southgate, Barnet, Crouch End and Muswell Hill amongst other areas. - When are you available? Currently, all my availability has been taken up with tuition. If things change, I will update my profile. - Which ages and levels do you teach? Children aged 4-11 for English and Maths.
