About Evangeline
Evangeline is an multi-instrumentalist born and raised in East London where her musical journey began on the flute, violin and cello, until she found her true passion for the double bass. She has played with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Glydenbourne Touring Orchestra and toured as principle with the Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra.
Evangeline was a previous Britten Pears Artist, a member of the London Symphony Orchestra String Scheme, London Sinfonietta Academy, and the ‘Pit Perfect’ Scheme with Glyndebourne Touring Orchestra.
She has a keen interest in period music, having played with renowned ensembles such as Florilegium and many other early music groups in the UK. .
Recently graduated with First Class Honours at the Royal College of Music, she is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music, generously supported with scholarship, a Countess of Munster Trust Study Award and Talent Unlimited.

I charge £40 an hour, and £25 an hour. I teach at my home studio in Buckhurst Hill!
