I am a student teacher at stfx university and I have been working with kids for the past 10 years. I have completed 6 different practicum placements so far and I have one more to go before becoming a certified teacher!

My approaches focus on the process and not the product. It is important to assess students and children based on how they are performing and improving and not just what they can do by “testing” them. I encourage all students to try their best and I like to use positive reinforcement and praise.
