About Lauren
Lauren is an aspiring KPOP dance teacher with over 15 years of dance training. Her base background came from all-star cheerleading (4 years) and all-star hip hop dance (6 years). During that time, she has competed on a national and international level, winning multiple championships.
Since moving to Chicago, she has been heavily involved in the Chicago KPOP dance community. As a KPOP cover dancer, she has danced for many groups (Chemical X, Prism Kru, 4CHU, Elite Kontent Crew, and Knockout Dance Crew). With Chemical X, she has won (and placed) in many competitions.
In 2014, she started her career as a KPOP dance instructor at the age of 20. Her biggest career moment has been working with young dancers to perform with Korea's biggest star, IU, on her 2024 "HEREH" Chicago Concert. She currently teaches at Yin He Dance Center in Chicago, IL, teaching pre-teens, teens, and adults.

I teach mainly on a beginner level. We can start off with K-Pop or I can teach you fundamentals of hip hop. Let me know what your needs are, and I will tailor them personally based on your request.
General Private Lessons entail:
-A generous warm up
-Learning your favorite KPOP dances or go over hip hop drills.
-Going over a step-by-step detail of each dance move (visually learning and repeating the movement until you feel comfortable).
-Recording at the end of practice to see your progress throughout our time

Adults 18+
60 minutes $100
