About Raj

Master English with Mr. Raj, an experienced tutor with a Master's degree in TESOL. I am an American living in Malaysia with 22 years of teaching experience who can help you excel in IGCSE, A Levels, IELTS, and more.

I have a track record of success in guiding and instructing students in achieving their English goals whether it be passing a specific exam or just improving their English fluency.

About the lesson

Hi my name is Mr. Raj and I am an American living in Malaysia. I teach the following subjects - IGCSE First and Second Language English, Checkpoint English, IGCSE Literature, A Levels English and Literature, IELTS, ESL English (conversation and writing), Public Speaking, and Creative Writing. I can also teach university courses such as Business Communication and Mass Communication.

I have a Master's degree in TESOL and a Bachelor's Degree in English (Journalism). I have 22 years of teaching experience and have taught at international schools, universities, and language schools.

Age wise, I handle Year 7 (Form One) to university and working adults.

My strengths as a teacher are analyzing and determining a student's weakness(es) and devising lessons and materials to improve that area and English fluency overall. I am also skilled at breaking up exams and/or English language in general into components for easier learning by the student.
