About Bara
I'm Baraah, a physician with an MD from Jordan University of Science and Technology and a master's degree in pharmacology. I've spent the last several years in doctoral research in cancer pharmacology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the US, where I maintained a straight-A record across all graduate coursework.
Before moving into research, I worked as a primary care physician for two years serving Syrian refugee communities in Jordan — prenatal care, chronic disease, general medicine. That experience taught me how to explain complex medical concepts clearly to people under pressure, with limited time, in high-stakes situations. That skill transfers directly to tutoring.
I'm fluent in English and Arabic, patient with students who are struggling, and direct with students who need to move fast. I've been on the other side of rigorous science exams and I know what it takes to actually prepare for them — not just cover the material, but own it.

I'm a physician with an MD and a master's in pharmacology, currently doing doctoral research in cancer pharmacology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I've been working with science at a clinical and research level for years — which means I don't just know what the MCAT asks, I know why it matters and where students consistently get tripped up.
My sessions are built around your specific weak spots, not a generic curriculum. We work through concepts until they actually make sense, not just until you can recognize the right answer. I focus heavily on the reasoning behind questions — because the MCAT is designed to punish memorization and reward understanding.
I tutor biology, biochemistry, physiology, and psychology/sociology. I also tutor in Arabic for students who think better in their first language.
