About Kimberly
Fluency is often blocked by the fear of making mistakes in front of strangers. You actually improve faster when you stop trying to be perfect and start trying to be understood. Drawing on my 16 years of experience, I incorporate weekly conversation practice recordings that we review together in our sessions.
This practice allows us to isolate specific sounds and grammar patterns that need fine-tuning. My background in linguistics informs how we break down complex DELE exam preparation into manageable parts. We keep the focus on clarity and confidence until the session just naturally comes to an end.

Coffee steam rises as I recall the early days of crafting language tools during my 16 years of teaching in Canberra. Those initial classroom hours taught me that learning a new tongue requires more than just grammar books. My MA in Applied Linguistics from Macquarie University provides the academic backbone for the resources I have spent over a decade building. I work regularly with adults and hobbyists who are planning significant life changes like relocation or immigration.
Whether you are an advanced learner or starting from scratch, I assist with Latin American and Castilian variants. My approach centers on cultural context, writing skills, and everyday phrases for beginners. Listening practice is woven into our time together to ensure you feel ready for real world interactions.
