About Suman
Many high-achieving professionals reach a point where success no longer protects them from exhaustion, emotional overload, or a quiet loss of meaning. This often surfaces during transitions—burnout, leadership fatigue, or even retirement—when external validation fades and inner questions begin to grow stronger.
This is not therapy, and it is not motivational talk.
It is a quiet, practical space to regain emotional balance, clarity, and a sense of inner steadiness.
My work is grounded in applied positive psychology and real-life experience. I work with professionals to help them regain clarity, emotional balance, and dignity—so they can engage with life and work from a place of calm strength rather than constant strain.
I served for over 34 years in senior leadership roles within the Parliament of India, retiring as an Additional Secretary. My work involved sustained decision-making under pressure, navigating complex human dynamics, and functioning within environments of high responsibility and accountability.
I have delivered keynote lectures and conducted workshops for executives, policymakers, and professionals, including sessions at Indian Institute of Management Raipur, orientation programmes for Members of Parliament, and broadcasts on Sansad TV.
As part of official Indian delegations, I accompanied the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on international visits across multiple countries. These experiences strengthened my ability to remain composed, focused, and emotionally balanced in high-stakes environments—an approach I now bring into my mentoring work.
I am certified in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing through programmes offered by Harvard University and Yale University. My sessions bring together evidence-based frameworks and lived professional insight, with a focus on practical tools for managing stress, preventing burnout, and building emotional resilience.
I am the author of Soul’Tweets and One Step Higher…, both based on real-life reflections on human behaviour, inner growth, and everyday wisdom.

This class is designed for working professionals navigating workplace stress, burnout, high expectations, and constant performance pressures. Using applied positive psychology and behavioural science, the sessions focus on practical, evidence-based approaches to build emotional resilience, improve focus, manage stress responses, and sustain long-term wellbeing—without compromising professional effectiveness.
The work is quiet, reflective, and practical—centred on steadiness and clarity rather than quick fixes or high-intensity motivation.
Participants learn to understand their stress triggers, regulate emotional responses, set healthy boundaries, and develop coping mechanisms suited to modern organisational environments. The approach is realistic and structured, drawing from real-world professional contexts rather than abstract theory.
This is particularly suited for professionals, managers, leaders, and individuals seeking sustainable performance, mental clarity, and psychological balance at work.
My sessions are structured yet reflective, and are designed for self-motivated individuals who are willing to engage with the process. The work is not directive or enforcement-based, but requires a certain level of personal commitment.
I work primarily with individuals in leadership, policy, and high-responsibility roles who value thoughtful, evidence-based development.

I offer a short introductory session to understand your current context and explore whether this approach aligns with your needs.

Perfect! I started sessions with Suman at a time of significant job-related stress that was beginning to affect my family life as well. I was on the verge of resigning, feeling confused and uncertain about the overall trajectory of my life. From the very beginning, Suman was amazing—very approachable, calm, and easy to talk to, which made it much easier to open up during a difficult period.
The sessions were very structured and thoughtfully paced. Suman took the time to genuinely understand my difficulties rather than offering surface-level reassurance. Her wisdom with words is truly life changing—often a single insight would stay with me long after the session. A key realisation for me was understanding how, in many ways, my own mind was working against me.
By the third session, I could clearly start to identify how my negative thinking patterns were influencing my feelings and actions, why I was behaving in certain ways, and how my lack of boundaries at work was significantly contributing to my stress. The way Suman helped me connect these dots and the strategies provided to deal with these issues was incredibly empowering and eye-opening.
I never imagined these sessions would create such a meaningful shift in my thinking in such a short space of time. While I know this is a longer journey, I genuinely feel fortunate to have come across Suman. For anyone in a similar situation—feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or at a breaking point—my only advice would be: don’t give up. The right support, and someone like Suman, can truly change the direction of your life. Evelin- Thank you, Evelin, so much for sharing this so openly and thoughtfully. I’m truly grateful for your trust, especially during such a challenging phase of your life. What stood out for me in our sessions was your willingness to reflect honestly, question long-held patterns, and take responsibility for your own growth—those are not easy things to do under stress.Suman's response :
I’m glad the structured approach, clarity around thinking patterns, and work on boundaries helped you reconnect the dots and feel more empowered. The real credit goes to your intent and courage to pause, reflect, and act differently.
As you rightly said, this is a journey, and awareness is just the beginning—but meaningful shifts can start very quickly when the right support meets genuine intent. I wish you continued clarity, balance, and confidence as you move forward. Thank you once again for your kind words. All the best.
