About Alex
I'm a non-binary classically trained choral and opera singer with over twenty years' experience performing in a range of different genres from classical to pop. I want everyone to have a voice and to feel empowered to express themselves freely, and singing has been such a vital and powerful tool for me to do this in my own life. It is such a joy to see my students gaining confidence and strength in their own voices.

I use a holistic and person-centred approach to teaching singing. The voice is such a personal thing, and I want every student to feel comfortable and free to explore using and developing their voice. We do this with specially tailored voice exercises, and apply these to the songs we work on together. Feel free to bring along something you know or have always wanted to try! I can also make suggestions of pieces to work on from the songs I have available in my studio.
