About Noor-Fatima
Hi there!
I'm a 2nd year BSc Operating Department Practice student at London South Bank University, aspiring to become an anaesthetic & surgical ODP. Alongside my studies, I have been doing specialist GCSE tutoring in the past year, which I thoroughly enjoy :)
I achieved AAB in A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and earned excellent GCSE results, including a Grade 9 in IGCSE Chemistry (self-taught).
I currently tutor the following subjects at GCSE level:
- GCSE Maths (THIS AD)
- GCSE Biology (SEPARATE AD)
- GCSE Chemistry (SEPARATE AD)
- GCSE Physics (SEPARATE AD)
With over 2 years of experience as a teaching assistant at a primary school, I’ve worked one-on-one with children of various abilities, helping them build confidence and master key concepts. I believe that patience, empathy, and tailored support are essential to helping students thrive academically.
I also serve as a Special Constable with the Metropolitan Police, which has further strengthened my communication, responsibility, and time-management skills.

My teaching approach focuses on building both confidence and understanding. I tailor every lesson to the individual student's strengths, areas for development, and learning style. I use a range of teaching techniques including worked examples, guided practice, retrieval activities, exam-style questions, and past paper walkthroughs to ensure students develop a secure understanding of key concepts while improving their exam technique.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, providing enough time to introduce new content, consolidate learning, and practise applying knowledge to examination questions. Each session is structured but flexible, allowing me to adapt to the student's needs and pace of learning. If required, lesson timings can be adjusted according to your needs :)
I do private tutoring as well as on Tutorful + Sherpa Tutors, so lots of experience with a range of students too!
