About Lily
I am passionate about teaching and find immense joy in helping students unlock their potential. My name is Lily, and I specialise in tutoring English, French and Arabic.
I thrive on the excitement of seeing students grasp new concepts and gain confidence in their language skills. Each lesson is an opportunity to inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning languages. Having studies languages myself for over 10 years, I know how daunting it seems at first. However, I also know how transformative and rewarding it can be.
I have experience teaching both children and adults, and my strong communication skills, combined with my warm personality, make me an excellent teacher. I also have experience in SEND and I am adaptable and a good listener. I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every student feels comfortable practising, exploring and making mistakes.

Are you looking to enhance your language skills? I'm Lily, a dedicated tutor offering personalised lessons in English, French and Arabic. I hold a First Class degree from the University of Edinburgh in Arabic as well as a Master's in International Law from SOAS, University of London.
My language proficiency includes:
- Native English speaker
- Advanced Modern Standard Arabic
- Advanced French
- Intermediate Italian and Arabic dialects (Egyptian and Levantine)
With a TEFL qualification (140 hours) and experience tutoring for the International English Language Testing System, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my lessons.
