About Cemil

I graduated from İstanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture. I was an Erasmus+ exchange student in Belgium for one year at KU Leuven's Architecture Master's Program. I describe myself as an architect, designer and artist. I am a graduate of Teachers High School; therefore, I already got skills in terms of pedagogy while I was in high school. I was the coordinator of Nesin Art Village's Architecture Workshop Programs in Şirince, Turkey. I participated in many arts and architecture-related workshops, exhibitions and biennials at national and international levels as being in different positions such as architect, coordinator, workshop coordinator, teacher and artist. I have taught many art and architecture classes in the past and continue to teach in this field. I am the owner of the art, architecture and design studio called "yunivorks". I can speak fluent English, and I am just a beginner in French.

About the lesson

I create a course program according to the individual's special needs and wishes. My teaching method is also shaped according to the expectations of the learner. In general, an open, comfortable, easy and funny learning environment awaits you. It is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. The course process will be shaped by the following topics: - Exercises that improve visual-cognitive perception and eye-hand coordination - Free-hand drawing; sketch; perspective, three-dimensional thinking, atmospheric and spatial drawings - Collage Making - Watercolor Techniques - Creativity-enhancing exercises - Designing your drawing and painting tools - Using different production mediums together; as digital-physical tools - Visual composition, imaginary drawings, spatial fiction, expressing ideas with drawing, creating a visual story/storyboards by drawing, drawing an existing story or narrative - Art and architecture exhibitions - Reviewing architectural built-works - Intersection of art and architecture - A brief overview of the history of art and architecture - Creative ways of preparing architectural presentations and posters - Architectural model-making - How to use Photoshop to make your drawings and renders more effective - AutoCAD for Beginners
