About Ayla
My passion for architecture is rooted in the belief that spaces can inspire, solve problems, and reflect creativity. Over ten years, I have guided students from foundational design concepts to sophisticated, independent projects, nurturing technical skill, aesthetic sensibility, and analytical thinking. Witnessing learners develop their own architectural voice, conceptual clarity, and confidence in spatial problem-solving is immensely rewarding. My teaching philosophy is grounded in curiosity, reflection, and personalized instruction, enabling students to explore ideas fully while building practical competence. I emphasize experiential learning, adaptability, and clarity. Lessons are designed to accommodate different learning styles and paces, promoting exploration, iteration, and independent discovery. Every project encourages creativity, technical accuracy, and analytical thinking. Students are taught to see challenges as opportunities for innovation and to approach design with both rigor and imagination. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with contemporary architecture, design software, and professional trends. Bringing these experiences into the classroom ensures lessons are relevant, inspiring, and practical. Teaching architecture is more than instruction—it is about nurturing independent, innovative thinkers capable of blending creativity, functionality, and analytical reasoning to produce impactful and meaningful designs.
