About Catherine

Hi there! I am a recent architecture graduate from the University of Waterloo, the #1 architecture undergraduate program in Canada.

I've worked in the professional setting both in Canada and internationally, and have finished an international term abroad in Rome during my five years of studies.

I have helped numerous students get accepted into top architecture schools in Canada in the past year (Carleton, TMU, Laurentian, etc.).

With a strong background in the industry and a passion for architecture, I'm here to guide you through your architecture journey. My commitment is to provide you with a personalized and fulfilling learning experience, integrating real-world projects and industry-standard software tools, and assisting with building architecture school portfolio applications. I'm dedicated to helping you excel, develop confidence, and achieve your architectural aspirations.

About the lesson

- I customize lessons to suit each student's unique needs and background, providing a personalized educational experience. I help students build impressive artworks and portfolios for university applications and career advancement.

- My lessons are meant for both high school students who have an interest in architecture and/or are looking to apply to architecture schools in the near future and university students who are currently enrolled in an architecture program and need extra help with course assignments.

- The first lesson is typically used to get to know each other and to understand your needs and strengths. After that, we will brainstorm ideas and it will become a work sessions for us to build your portfolio together.

- I also have experience with a wide range of architectural software tools where students can explore and gain experience in rendering, drafting, and graphics, giving them a realistic understanding of the practical aspects of architectural design and visualization.

- Software expertise include but are not limited to: AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, VRay, D5, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.

Online or in-person classes based in Markham, ON.

Classes available for $40/hr in-person or online.

Please inquire for private sessions at your home. An extra travel fee will be added based on distance and a minimum of at least 4 hours of class is required.

Art materials will be provided based on availabilities during in person classes. Extra materials will be provided by students themselves.
