About Deborah
My name is Deborah. A lover of creative writing and one who expresses herself and raises awareness about issues that affect the world and specifically humanity through my creative writing and poetry. This is evidenced in blogs and books I have written over the years. I would like to share the knowledge I have gained over the years by teaching others.
I have also written researched material, however my strengths lie in self expression creatively through writing. Writing is my passion. I believe it allows one to delve into the unknown, get to know one's inner true self and can be cathartic.

I take private tutoring seriously and will personalise the lessons for your specific needs. I teach creative writing & poetry using a step-by-step methodology leading to freewriting, draft, and final scripts.
After establishing a theme or the purpose for a specific piece of writing, I aim to inspire my student's creativity by using prompts, imaginary scenarios, lead in sentences and personal memories. In addition, I aim to explore different poetry formats or poetic writing with students.
