About Darlene
Playing music in bars for 10 years taught me exactly how to handle high-pressure environments. Having taught 296 students, I have seen every type of singer navigate the transition from hobbyist to confident performer.
We focus on warm-up exercises, exam preparation, and pitch control to ensure your voice remains healthy. Stage fear management is essential, and I love seeing students move past that hurdle to find their true sound. I still remember my own early days on stage when I felt nervous but eager to share my music.

Tight throats and limited range stop many vocalists from reaching their full potential. Performance confidence is built through repetition and consistent technique. I emphasize sight singing, rhythm and phrasing, and tone and resonance to help you control every note. My students receive recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep their progress steady.
