About Amber

I am a 10-year Army Veteran with a commission in the Corps of Engineers. I attended the University of Pittsburgh for Political Science and Korean language. I learned to read when I was 3 and have always had a passion for writing. I am currently pursing my second bachelors as a Registered Nurse.

My teaching method involves vocabulary building, writing workshops, peer response and editing, cooperative learning, and student chose texts. I am very flexible and open to new ideas and try to be as open and understanding as possible to every students particular needs.
