About Nubia
Visual artist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have held several exhibitions in museums and art galleries of Argentina and around the world.
I currently teach art in my own studio and in other institutions, such as Tintaentera Taller de Obra Gráfica (Spain) and Carlos Morel National School of Fine Arts.
Publications:
-Co-author of "8 Técnicas sin ácido” (Trecebé Ediciones, 2012) a book that covers experimental and non-toxic printmaking techniques. For the preparation of this book she investigated on photopolymer and polyester plates with Mark Zaffron at the Center for Research, Art, Technology and Education CRATE (Oakland, California).
-Co-author of “Cuadernos de Grabado no tóxico: Gofrado” (Trecebé Ediciones, 2017), a fascicule about Embossing methods.

Hello! In my artwork I focus mainly on figurative art, combining different media such as printmaking, sculpture and painting.
The classes are aimed at those interested in experimenting with different techniques and materials to find their own artistic language:
*Painting (Acrylic, Oil)
*Monocopies
*Drawing (pencil, graphite, pastel)
*Printmaking (woodcut, linocut, stamps, collagraph, embossing, drypoint, metal engraving, experimental techniques, etc.)
*Collage
*Frottage
No previous experience required.
The workshop is located in Buenos Aires, very close to the San Martín Theater and Paseo La Plaza.
