About Sarah
I have experience working with and instructing artists and learners at every age and every skill level.
My experience as a classroom teacher gives me the structure and systems to build skills for success in multiple artistic practices for any age. Working as a community art instructor gave me the flexibility to meet artists at any level and with any interest. Being a practicing artist means I’m always growing and developing my own skills to improve myself!

I am a former classroom art teacher and current resident artist in healthcare with experience teaching early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school, as well as experience teaching all ages—including adults—in community art classes. I have provided tutoring and support for college students in art appreciation, art history, and studio art classes. I am a multidisciplinary artist and have worked with a variety of drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital, and other media.
I can give one time support for a collage age art student needing help preparing a portfolio presentation or artist statement. I can offer sustained lessons with demonstrations, skill building, and structured projects for learners of any age to supplement school art classes, or for adult learners looking to develop and build new art making practices.
Teaching has been an integral part of my practice as an artist, and I love any opportunity to build and support other artists at every point of their journey!
