About Prithwish

I have completed my Bachelor Degree in painting from THE INDIAN COLLEGE OF ARTS & DRAFTSMANSHIP – (2013) and Master’s Degree in Painting from Rabindra Bharati University in (2020) throughout my college days, I had learned various mediums of art-making including, drawing, pencil sketching, watercolor painting, still- life, oil painting, collage and many more. I have in-depth knowledge about Art History spanning from Indian to the Western forms of Arts. I have also done a Diploma course in DTP (Desktop Publication) in 2016.

About the lesson

I believe Art is a language like any other language in the world, and can be said to be one of the oldest languages. Art Education or Art Practice is not limited to just the size of the school art copybook or all the work in the school or other areas, art is hidden in everything, in different shapes. At present, art education and crafts education have shown a new path. Again, through art therapy, different people and students can be motivated in various ways. I have been trying to show new horizons through art and craft to the students with my experience for the last few years and in this way the new generation can be inspired in many ways. Creative lesson plans and boundless energy are what I consider to be my hallmarks. I had the privilege to work with kids as well as elders through different organized events. I wish to continue my journey of imparting knowledge about Art and how it can be perceived through so many new ways. I always remain eager to see the outcome of any willingly spent energy.
