About Ana
I studied art since I’m 14 (have a degree in graphics and painting from the National University of Arts in Bucharest), then went on to teaching art and design for 14 years in the private sector.
I’m passionate about book illustration, posters, textures and patterns, abstract and expressive art, I have good knowledge and skills in figurative art, graphics, both digital and “on paper”.
I’ve published 4 children’s books and work as a freelance artist for over 15 years now

I’m happy to explain the why and the how, easily guiding you through all the artistic elements that will help you master your style, lines, shapes, colours, depth and detail, texture and so on, as building blocks. Throughout time I’ve understood that connecting students to art history, artists and themes, using imagery to help guide the artistic process, is the most fruitful approach towards reaching both good skills, clarity and understanding of their own style and strengths.
My goal is to ultimately empower students to understand and create their own meaningful work.
