About Jayne
I am a dedicated singing tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional workplaces. My focus is on helping students discover their unique voice, develop technical skills, and perform confidently. I believe singing is not just about hitting notes—it’s about self-expression, creativity, and connecting with music emotionally, and I guide my students to master all these aspects.
My lessons are interactive, practical, and student-centred. I teach essential vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone, and vocal projection. I also cover music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and performance skills including stage presence, expression, and musical interpretation. I combine structured exercises with real-life examples to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I adapt lessons to each student’s level and goals. Beginners are guided patiently to build strong foundations, while advanced learners are coached to refine their skills, prepare for performances, and overcome challenges such as stage anxiety or vocal fatigue. I emphasise consistent practice, structured feedback, and measurable progress.
My mission is to create a motivating, supportive, and inspiring environment where students feel confident exploring their voice, expressing themselves, and developing a lifelong love for singing.

My teaching methodology for Singing combines technical training with emotional support for balanced learning. I use real-life examples and case studies from real songs and performances to explain how vocal techniques work in practice.
Empathy guides my teaching, as I understand the personal connection students have with their voice. I follow a flexible teaching approach, adjusting lessons to match each student’s learning style and goals. Clear communication helps students apply techniques correctly and confidently.
Using a problem-solving approach, I help students overcome vocal challenges such as strain, pitch issues, and breathing problems. In addition to Singing, I also teach related subjects like music fundamentals, ear training, rhythm practice, vocal health, and performance preparation.
