About Alisha
I have three years of tutoring experience and want to branch out more into art. I've taught a couple of students before who have noticed almost immediate improvement in 3D rendering, shading, and placement. I'm comfortable with students experimenting in pretty much any medium they desire, whether it be charcoal, colored pencils, oil pastels, paints, markers.. in art, the world is your oyster, and I do my best to encourage each student to work with what they feel most comfortable using.

My first and foremost concern when teaching is approaching each topic with creativity and fun. I base my teaching off each student rather than try to meld my students into the way I teach. I use the techniques from Mark Kistler's Draw Squad book to teach my students.
I tend to prefer teaching students from around 10-15 years. Although my teaching style is geared more towards younger students, older students may profit from learning how to relax and draw more creatively.
