About Shane Capri

A trauma-informed Theatre Graduate from University of Tasmania. My background in sports, dance/movement and the dramatic arts shape how my classes are experienced. I work with both children and working adults to find what it means to move in their own skin first, prior to teaching you the various techniques required for examinations. For adults, classes are structured to the individual. I will speak your body's vocabulary to help you understand the concepts.
 Classes ranges between 1 hour to 1 and half hours
Performance Coaching sessions - 2 hours

Ever had someone tell you that you had to speak clearer, or be "braver"? Or perhaps you've always had a dream to be on stage, or on camera but didn't know where to begin. Adults, perhaps it was a manager that said you needed to be more assertive during a client's pitch? What if I told you that it is a lot easier than your body is telling you right now? That feeling you get in your chest? Or the sheer nerves flooding that makes you feel hot and cold. In my sessions, whatever level/experience, you will experience: - Seeing - Listening - Movement - Your center - Your voice (not what you think you should sound) - Analysis My goal as an educator/coach/trainer, has always been about helping others find themselves.
