About Rashe
I take pride in being reliable, patient, and professional with every student I work with. My 15+ years of experience with ASL and my background as a CODA give me a strong foundation to teach the language confidently and respectfully. I want my students to feel comfortable knowing they are learning from someone who has real-life experience with ASL and Deaf culture, while also receiving lessons that are organized around their individual goals and needs.

I have 15+ years of experience with ASL and am fluent in the language. I grew up as a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult), so ASL and Deaf culture have been a part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Because of this, I have a strong understanding of not only the language itself, but also the culture, expressions, and little things that you may not learn in a typical ASL class. I want to make learning ASL feel comfortable, practical, and actually useful, whether you’re just starting out, taking ASL in school, or looking to become more confident communicating with Deaf people.
