I emphasize a student-centered approach, adapting lessons to each student’s unique learning style. I focus on building a strong foundation in writing and comprehension, using interactive techniques like discussions, writing prompts, and analysis exercises to engage students and enhance their skills.
For writing-focused tutoring, a session might begin with a brief review of a writing sample or assignment. We would then move on to targeted exercises, such as improving thesis statements or structuring arguments. For literature/comprehension, we might analyze a passage together, focusing on theme, tone, and character development. Homework could include drafting a paragraph or summarizing a chapter to reinforce the lesson.
My approach is highly personalized; I tailor each lesson to the student’s current needs and long-term goals. With a background in English and soon-to-be graduate studies in education, I bring both subject expertise and pedagogical knowledge to every session.
Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for middle school to college-level students who need help with writing, literature, and comprehension. Whether you're prepping for a high school essay, navigating college-level literature, or honing your writing skills, I’m here to guide you.

Perfect! The tutor, a highly professional and thoughtful individual, took the time to build a strong rapport with my daughter before gently guiding her through a simple assessment. She ensured that the process was relaxed and free of any pressure, which my daughter greatly appreciated and enjoyed. I was thoroughly impressed by her kindness and the genuine care she showed during the session.
