Aspiring exhibition artist teaches beginner loose and expressive floral watercolour in Kuala Lumpur

My girls love having class with teacher Elyn. She makes it fun and exciting for them - she motivates them to do better and understands them and the teaching style they each need so well. I am so grateful to have her as their teacher. I have seen tremendous improvement in their piano playing and not only that, they have learnt to love music more because of her.

Actually, I found my violin teacher from my friends‘ recommendation, and they were right that Elyn is a nice teacher. From the start, I could tell she knew her stuff and she taught me in a way that was helpful and made sense. She is patient， encouraging and humorous while also making sure I improved at the same time.

She always gives me very helpful feedback and suggestions. It's very enjoyable while learning with her and I will keep going for her classes.

Ms Elyn is the nicest music teacher I have ever met. She will ask and listen to students' requests and provide a detailed teaching plan which can meet what the students want and need. She always spreads positive energy and motivates me while teaching music. Learning music with her is very comfortable and relaxing.

Elyn has been coaching both my kids violin and piano, for many years now. A teacher with passion, very understanding and extremely patient with my kids. She is good at assessing her student's abilities and interests and adjust their lessons' accordingly. I strongly recommend her.

Elyn is an energetic and bright person. It is great that these were delivered to me during her lessons. That allowed me re-start and continue to plaly music happily again after decades of suspending.

If you're looking for a tutor that respects your time, I would definitely recommend Elyn. She's willing to customise her teaching plans to fit my personal circumstances and interests, so I get to learn both my favourite songs as well as more technical pieces. I think having the autonomy to choose what I get to learn makes the whole experience a lot more engaging and it's easier to maintain interest too :)

I think she’s very funny, which motivates you to keep working hard and keep loving music. Classes are usually very enjoyable and fun, and are also very helpful in terms of learning. Overall, a great experience learning from her, and will boost your music journey further ,all while having fun.
