About Aaron
I am an Assistant Producer with 3 years' experience developing and making TV shows for the world's biggest broadcasters such as Netflix, Disney and National Geographic. I believe film and TV is increasingly important in communicating science and information. I want to teach the next generation how to be quality and responsible filmmakers, best preparing them for successful careers and other educational endeavours.

I have 2 years' experience teaching children filmmaking skills such as developing stories and structuring narratives, setting up cameras for basic filming and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. Allowing them to produce their own entertaining and educational films. I offer remote lessons of 1 hour a week for secondary school children and above who have a passion for film and are keen to hone their production skills for GCSEs, A levels, University or just for fun! I have a master's in Science Media Production from Imperial College and predominantly make science documentaries and therefore try to ensure all films are educational as well as entertaining. I try to tailor all lessons to the student's personal interests, whether this is making YouTube films using Minecraft gameplay or creating shark conservation shorts using open source, online footage; I feel this makes learning more enjoyable and students produce better films as a result.
